Topic: Wild Animals
Teachers' name: Andrea Leiva
Juan José Menjivar
Skill: Vocabulary

In today's class my partners taught vocabulary about "Wild Animals". Teacher Juan José started and presented some of the rules of the class. Students were very hyperactive, they also gave students a quiz about the first unit.
After that he continued with the class and asked students to stand up and made a line, on the floor it was pasted circle black and yellow papers, so if the teacher said yellow they had to move the yellow circles and if they said black to the other side. It really was a great activity, students were having a lot of fun! Great activity to break the ice. I'd certainly like to use this activity in the warm up stage when teaching children.
Then teacher Juan José taught the vocabulary target using disposable plates and labels to show the names of the animals. It was not difficult to teach the vocabulary because most the students knew about it and were familiar with it. Very creative the fact that they used disposable plates to make the animals. They asked them to repeat and pronounce as many times as necessary.
In the next stage teacher Andrea gave each student a worksheet in which they had to match the picture of the animal with its correct name, students were able to complete the task easily.
After that they told students to imagine they were in a jungle and make two lines so they could work with the person infront of them. They gave the mask of the animals and students had to say the animal they were, using the structure "I'm a lion" for example.
In the last stage they passed a ball and when the teacher said stop the child who had it, will have to say the name of the animal the teacher showed using the diposable plates.
